At Essex Reptile Encounters we take education very seriously, we believe that a hands on experience gives children a real understanding of these animals needs, functions and behaviour. All of our talks and presentations are not only science based but are also heavily influenced by our own personal experiences with these wonderful creatures over the last 30 years.
At our early years visits we offer a great introduction to reptiles. We focus on colours and textures but we also describe basic physical features and touch upon behaviour and the natural conditions in which the creatures live.
We always bring age appropriate animals that are not only beautiful to look at but also easy to handle. Getting hands on with the animals is a great way for the children to start understanding the natural world and to have respect and compassion for these wonderful animals.
